Trying to do Timely Updates

 Trying to do timely updates...
And having a varied amount of luck at it. This is the busy season (but that's going away after the start of Nov) which has prevented the update from being regular, as has trying to do a redo on a section as well as other projects.

Gear will not quit:
This is just a time of irregular updating, nothing's stopping or quitting. Fans are still sending things in and stores are still really going wild for Sonic, so all's well merchandise wise. Hopefully after the 11th or so things will get back to regular including the email responses (so if you sent something and didn't get a reply, that may be why.)

Actual site stuff:
Go to Kohls! 
Kohls has at least 4 teens tees, a sweat shirt, a long sleeve, 2 possible PJ sets AND they're stocking the Jakks Pacific figures! Kohls is signed up for Sonic season so if you want Xmas stuff or your Target is out of Jakks Pacific things head on over for the usual 9.99 price per figure. They also have the JP Plushes and the new 'diorama' set with 2 figures. Mighty, Mecha Sonic, Eggman, Laughin'-Classic and more have all been confirmed there by fans. Kohls isn't well known for figures so you're not going to have scalpers clearing them out.

Target:
Good for sweat shirts, sweat pants (teens), kids PJs the usual tees and the JP figures. Target is still going strong with good selections and lots of each thing.

Walmart:
Go for the sheets sets, fleece blanket, duvet type comforter blanket, big pillow case, curtains and pjs. Their homegoods are really shining this season. They're also supposed to have the JP figures but lots of places are reported out of stock.

Crack Barrel?
Yes...oddly this restaurant is confirmed to have at least the small line JP figures. Because no one suspects the gift shop of Cracker Barrel (always located near a highway) you can get rare characters easily like Silver or Super Sonic in there. A good plan, but they're marked up to something like 7 dollars.

Item of the Week:
Has to be the Ice King pendants. Sonic jewelry is generally few and far between, so it's nice to see more even though it's a bit strange. It's confusing as to where you could wear something like this. But maybe it is for jewelry collectors to buy and display? The Ice King whoever he may be, did quite the good job with sculpting them, as they all look good. Hopefully these sell well.

What will be redone/added?
The comics area. As you've noticed IDW is mostly missing from the site (for several reasons 1 of which is that the actual individual books are hard to get in this era) and the Doujinshi area is somewhat demolished and needs to be turned into education instead. 

Finally Amy:
This week finally sees Jakks making an Amy figure, so now the main crew is complete on the 5 inch line. (Sonic Tails Knuckles Shadow Amy) Why it took so long to make her is unknown, but likely is 'the girls curse' which has been mentioned many times here before. "Figures aren't released in order of importance"........yes but they ARE released in the order that the company thinks will sell the most. Hopefully everyone wants to add this Amy so that we can also get Rouge and Blaze figures at the 5 inch scale which has not been done before. (Yes Jazwares did make them but they were only tiny) 

Next week: 
Looks like GE Entertainment is back in the saddle for plushes with their Dark Chao who will appear then. Probably more from JP too.
